Digital SaaS lending platform, Lentra, has announced that it has officially joined AWS’ Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Programme.
The Pune-based AI startup has been a major player in offering loan origination and management services to banks and other financial institutions, making use of data analytics. Currently, it caters to several major banks operating in India, including HDFC, Citi, Standard Chartered and Federal Bank.
The programme is offered as a co-sell for AWS Partners who provide solutions run on or integrated with AWS. As part of the programme, Lentra, in addition to other participating ISVs, is connected with AWS’ sales wing to help drive new business.
“By joining forces with AWS, we’ll leverage the power of cloud computing to drive innovation and deliver unparalleled value to our clients. This partnership will streamline our ability to deliver industry-leading digital lending solutions to AWS customers,” said D Venkatesh, founder and CEO of Lentra.
As of now, the company’s platform has processed $20 billion in loans for over 30 banks since its inception in 2019, with an overall contribution to reducing customer acquisition costs and as many as three million loan applications processed monthly.
Now, with its newfound partnership with AWS, the startup has access to global AWS field sellers and co-sell support and benefits from AWS, allowing them to meet customer needs more efficiently.
With Lentra catering to some of the largest banks in India, this is likely to improve banking experiences within the country as well.
