Mica AI, a Y-Combinator-backed company co-founded by Achyuta Iyengar, Jai Yarlagadda, and Bharadwaj Swaminathan, has introduced a tool that transforms sales calls into personalised video highlights. This innovation promises to significantly enhance how sales teams communicate and close deals, making the process more efficient and effective.

Headquartered in San Francisco, the India-origin founders, who are graduates of University of California, look to tap into Saas sales business with Mica. The founders are graduates of University of Berkeley, The startup helps convert sales calls into engaging video highlight reels. 

In a typical sales process, once a sales call ends, it’s up to the main contact person to share the key points and benefits with other decision-makers in their company. This can be difficult because they might not remember or explain everything as well as the sales rep did. This communication gap can slow down or even stop potential deals, costing companies a lot of money in lost sales every year, and this is where Mica comes in. 

Revolutionising Sales Communication

The video highlights can be shared with main contacts to keep them excited and help them share the information internally. This innovative approach ensures that decision-makers who were not present on the call can quickly grasp key product features and deal terms, leading to faster sales cycles and more closed deals.

Mica’s solution is simple yet powerful. After a sales call, Mica automatically processes the recording, identifying the key points that garnered the most interest from the prospect. It then generates short videos for each of these crucial topics. These videos are compiled into a shareable link, which can be easily included in follow-up emails or sent directly to the prospect.
